Nichia estimates in 2018 consolidated revenue of 24 billion 400 million yuan

According to the news report, Nichia chemical industries (Nichia Corporation) in 23 held a press conference on 2018 forecast consolidated revenue will grow by 21%, to 420 billion yen (about 24 billion 400 million yuan), with net profit forecast to 50 billion yen (about 2 billion 900 million yuan), the estimated amount of equipment investment will be increased by 4 per year to 77 billion yen (about 4 billion 470 million people RMB).

Nichia President Ogawa Hiroyoshi said, "the future will continue to maintain 2 digit (10% or more) of the high interest rate."

For the 2018 business plan, Nichia pointed out that will improve the electric vehicle (EV) with lithium ion battery materials sales, expand Chinese / European car market accounted for more than LED, and used in a projector light source laser diode (LD, Laser Diode) sales growth target in 2020 will increase to 500 billion yen (consolidated revenue about 290 Billion yuan) scale.
