Apple's first batch of foldable iPhones is rumored to be in stock up to 11 million units

On April 11, it was revealed that Apple’s first foldable screen phone is temporarily named iPhone Ultra. This blockbuster new product is expected to be included in the product lineup in the fall of 2026 and will appear on the same stage as the iPhone 18 Pro series.

According to relevant bloggers, Apple has recently significantly increased the stocking volume of this model, and the first batch of stockings is said to have reached 11 million units. Such a large-scale supply plan fully demonstrates the high confidence of Apple executives in the market prospects of the first foldable screen iPhone.

In terms of industrial design, Apple finally finalized the book-style folding plan. The device has an outer screen of about 5.5 inches when closed, and the inner screen can reach 7.8 inches when unfolded, providing an extremely wide field of view.

This size is very close to the existing iPad mini, and the screen ratio is approximately 4:3. This wide folding screen design is designed to provide users with an immersive visual experience similar to a tablet, while still maintaining a certain degree of portability after folding.

In terms of hardware configuration, iPhone Ultra will be equipped with the A20 Pro flagship chip based on TSMC’s 2nm process and equipped with 12GB of running memory. The rear imaging system consists of two 48-megapixel main cameras and an ultra-wide-angle lens.
