BOE and TCL Technology apply for display patents

Recently, information on the website of the State Intellectual Property Office shows that BOE and TCL Technology have successively announced new patent applications, involving display panels and optoelectronic devices respectively.

BOE applied for a patent titled "Display Panel and Display Device".

The patent abstract shows that the present disclosure provides a display panel and a display device, which relate to the field of display technology. The display panel includes a driving backplane and a first electrode, a light-emitting device, and a second electrode that are stacked on the driving backplane in sequence. The display panel also includes a reflective film, which is provided on a side of the first electrode facing the driving backplane and/or a side of the second electrode away from the driving backplane;

The reflective film includes a plurality of first sub-film layers and a plurality of second sub-film layers. The first sub-film layers and the second sub-film layers are alternately arranged along a direction perpendicular to the driving backplane, and the refractive index of the first sub-film layers is greater than the refractive index of the second sub-film layers. The anti-peep function is realized while taking into account the brightness of the front view.

TCL Technology

Guangdong Juhua New Display Research Institute and TCL Technology jointly applied for a patent titled "An optoelectronic device and its preparation method."

The patent abstract shows that the application discloses an optoelectronic device and a preparation method thereof. The optoelectronic device includes an anode and a cathode arranged opposite each other, and a functional layer arranged between the anode and the cathode. The functional layer includes a first active layer and an auxiliary layer that are stacked in sequence. The auxiliary layer increases the life of the optoelectronic device.

It is understood that Guangdong Juhua New Display Research Institute is a non-profit legal person institution jointly established by TCL and upstream and downstream enterprises, universities, scientific research institutes and other units in the domestic new display industry chain. It is the support and management operation unit of the "Technology Innovation Center".
