CSAS releases five alliance standards CSA022-CSA026

The National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance Standardization Committee (CSAS) recently released five alliance standards CSA022-CSA026. These standards were drafted by the National Key Laboratory of Semiconductor Lighting Joint Innovation. Among the newly released standards, CSA023 and CSA025 are aimed at LED downlight and LED spotlight lighting applications, respectively stipulating the interface requirements for interchangeable LED modules, control devices and lamps, providing a reference for the design of modular lamps; CSA022 , CSA024, and CSA026 respectively correspond to the CSA016 (V1.1), CSA023, and CSA025 interface requirements standards, and are designed to test whether the optical, mechanical, electrical, and thermal interfaces of LED street lights/tunnel lights, LED downlights, and LED spotlights meet compliance requirements. In the nearly one-year formulation process of the five alliance standards, more than a hundred CSA member units participated in the formulation of the standards in various forms, such as direct drafting, soliciting opinions, participating in standards seminars, committee draft voting, etc., which reflects the standard and testing characteristics of the alliance standards such as extensive participation, coordination and consistency. As one of the drafting units, the State Key Laboratory of Semiconductor Lighting Joint Innovation declared that it holds technology patents involving five standards, and also made a commitment not to claim patent rights for anyone who uses the standard, and the statement does not contain any additional conditions.
