On February 18, Japanese AR glasses optical manufacturer Cellid announced that it will participate in the 2025 MWC Barcelona exhibition.
During MWC 2025, Cellid will allow visitors to experience the real application scenarios of AR technology through interactive displays, including the AR glasses reference design released in November last year and the latest optical waveguide technology.
According to data, Cellid’s core business is the development of AR glasses displays and spatial recognition engines. The company claims to be the first in the world to develop the largest, widest viewing angle, and lightest waveguide display technology, and has successfully developed the world's first full-color projection technology using plastic materials.
Cellid has created a number of AR glasses-related products in recent years, including the AR glasses display module sample "Cellid Waveguide 60" equipped with a 1.2 cubic centimeter single green Micro LED projector; the release of AR glasses Micro LED optical modules with a field of view up to 60 degrees; and the AR glasses reference design released last year, which uses an optical see-through waveguide display solution.
