"Common Standards for Cross-Strait LED Flat Panel Lamps", as one of the important achievements of cross-Strait cooperation in the information industry, is a key step and major breakthrough in cooperation in the semiconductor lighting industry since the two sides promoted common standards. In order to verify the applicability and practicality of the standard and the consistency of test data from cross-strait testing laboratories, in the second half of 2013, the China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute organized seven laboratories including the National Lighting Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, China Saixi (Guangzhou) Laboratory, Taiwan Industrial Technology Research Institute, and Taiwan Large Electric Power Research and Test Center to implement an LED flat panel lamp testing capability comparison plan.
This comparison test item includes main parameters such as input power, input current, power factor, distance-to-height ratio, brightness limitations of non-VDT operating environments, brightness uniformity, and spatial chromaticity inconsistency.
The report pointed out that through the participation of 7 laboratories on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, the technical exchanges between laboratory personnel have been strengthened, and the differences in test results have been analyzed, which is conducive to reducing measurement differences between laboratories, improving the laboratory's testing technology for semiconductor lighting, and is conducive to the implementation of GT 004-2012 "Common Standards for Cross-Strait LED Flat Panel Lamps", enhance mutual trust, and promote the exchange and development of cross-Strait standards work.
