Huike launches the world's first 3.1-inch RGB-MiniLED car AR-HUD display

Recently, HKC Huike launched the world’s first 3.1-inch RGB-Mini LED automotive AR-HUD display product, targeting smart cockpit head-up display application scenarios.

This product is based on Oxide oxide TFT technology and combined with RGB-Mini backlight solution. According to official information, its NTSC color gamut coverage reaches 116%, and its peak brightness can reach up to 15,000 nits, which is used to improve visibility and display contrast in strong light environments. At the same time, the backlight and light-transmitting structures are optimized to reduce imaging ghosting and blurring problems.

In terms of structural design, this product is optimized for the low power consumption requirements of vehicles and controls the energy consumption level under high-brightness display conditions to adapt to continuous vehicle operation scenarios. At the application level, this 3.1-inch AR-HUD product can be used for projection and overlay display of navigation information, driving assistance information, vehicle status prompts, etc. on the front windshield.

Huike said that this product is the first AR-HUD solution for its vehicle display business, and it will expand its vehicle central control and instrument display product layout around technologies such as Oxide and Mini LED.

It is reported that on December 19 last year, Huike also announced the launch of a 12.3-inch RGB-Mini LED automotive display, realizing the implementation of this technology in small and medium-sized automotive display products.

This product is equipped with 2400 high-brightness RGB-Mini LEDs. Through a 2400×3 chip fine partition design, each partition integrates three independent Mini LED chips of red (R), green (G), and blue (B). It is driven by a single IC to achieve pixel-level control of the three primary colors of RGB.

In addition to automotive applications, RGB-Mini LED technology has also further extended to consumer-level display scenarios. Huike also previously released the HKC M10 Ultra, the first display using an RGB-Mini LED backlight solution, marking the expansion of this technology from large-size TVs to small and medium-sized displays.

This product is equipped with a 31.4-inch panel, supports dual display mode switching of 4K 165Hz and FHD 330Hz, and uses an RGB-Mini LED backlight system with 4788 light-control partitions to improve dynamic display capabilities while taking into account the display requirements of high resolution and high refresh rate.
