NIMO is about to release MicroLED myopia glasses

On March 30, NIMO, a smart glasses brand owned by Shenzhen BitFantasy, released an official trailer, announcing that its first AI glasses will be officially launched. This product takes "daily wearable myopia glasses + AI smart display" as its core positioning, focusing on lightweight, privacy protection and lens adaptation, trying to promote smart glasses from being exclusive to geeks to everyday scenes for the public.

NIMO defines the core of its product as "fashionable glasses that can be worn every day, with smart functions", rather than digital devices in the traditional sense. The core of its design is to eliminate the "device feel" of smart glasses, making the product appearance and wearing experience highly consistent with ordinary myopia glasses, and adapting to all-weather and all-scenario wearing needs.

At the core hardware level, NIMO uses a rice-grade optical engine with a volume of only 0.03cc and a weight of less than 0.1g. It is hidden in the hinge structure of the glasses and does not affect the slenderness of the temples. The display is equipped with a 2.5μm Micro LED panel and volume holographic waveguide technology to achieve a single-eye, single-green display, with the image only visible to the wearer.

The whole machine weighs only 29g, uses 5:5 distributed weighting, and is equipped with β-titanium alloy temples to improve wearing comfort and adaptability. The temples have a built-in micro-steel-cased battery that lasts about 48 hours in typical scenarios and has passed multiple reliability tests.

At the same time, the product supports up to 800 degrees of myopia, 200 degrees of hyperopia and astigmatism correction. It can be matched with anti-blue light, discoloration, polarizing and other functional lenses, and is compatible with the traditional optical shop optometry and prescription process.

In terms of privacy protection and functional design, NIMO adopts a camera-less and speaker-less design to completely avoid the risk of privacy leakage and is suitable for sensitive scenarios such as meetings, offices, and education. The core functions focus on practical AI services, including real-time translation, navigation prompts, message reminders, teleprompters, etc., and the information is presented in an invisible display in front of you.

It is understood that Shenzhen Bit Fantasy behind NIMO was established in April 2025. The core members of the team come from Huawei, Meta, Tencent and other companies, and have nearly 20 years of experience in optical display and consumer electronics research and development. Product sales are mainly through traditional glasses store channels. Users can complete the purchase through the regular process of optometry, frame selection, and glasses, which lowers the threshold for using smart glasses.
