Recently, at an investor interactive Q&A event, Qianzhao Optoelectronics revealed the current development status of its three key businesses: LED, commercial aerospace and optical communications.
In terms of LED and new display business, the company is continuing to increase investment in research and development of Mini and Micro LED technology. In 2025, the company's backlight business and automotive business revenue will increase by more than 70% and 170% year-on-year respectively. Its self-developed high-performance RGB-Mini LED backlight chip has been certified by terminal TV customers such as Hisense and has been applied in mass production.
In the field of Micro LED, Dry Lighting Optoelectronics has developed a stable transfer process and completed small batch verification and delivery for major domestic and foreign customers.
In the field of optical communications business, Qianzhao Optoelectronics has achieved phased results in its high-speed chip research and development and industrialization process. Currently, the company's 10G and 25G VCSEL optical communication chips have completed sample delivery and are in the customer verification stage. It is expected that formal orders will be formed and delivered in 2026.
At the same time, 50G and 100G products with higher specifications have entered the tape-out stage. The company is conducting in-depth collaboration with the optical module company under Hisense Group to focus on the core needs of high-speed interconnection in AI data centers and jointly conquer key optical chip technologies such as VCSEL and Micro LED. In addition, in response to the commercialization needs of CPO short-distance optical interconnection, the company has launched a high-speed demo prototype to verify the core performance.
Qianzhao Optoelectronics predicts that new businesses such as Micro LED and optical communications including CPO will maintain double-digit growth in 2026.
As the second growth curve of Qianzhao Optoelectronics, the commercial aerospace business will show strong growth momentum in 2025. According to disclosures, the company’s commercial aerospace battery product revenue has exceeded 100 million yuan in 2025. As a supplier of gallium arsenide solar cells, Qianzhao Optoelectronics has nearly 20 years of on-orbit experience, and its products have been used in batches in domestic giant satellite constellations such as the G60 Qianfan constellation.
Regarding the international market, the company has made it clear that it currently has no plans to build a factory in the United States. In the future, it will focus on optimizing overseas layout, serving existing customers and developing new customers in the satellite field by setting up offices and other methods. At the same time, the company emphasized that it will strictly abide by the compliance requirements for export control of gallium-containing items in the process of expanding overseas markets.
From the perspective of corporate operations and governance, Qianzhao Optoelectronics has achieved steady performance growth in 2025, with revenue increasing by 39.78% year-on-year and net profit increasing by 19.32%. Looking forward to the future, the company plans to continue to reduce costs through self-developed equipment and supply chain optimization, and rely on Hisense Group's global platform to further expand the penetration of automotive and backlight products in the international market.
