Shentianma: Mini-LED technology solutions have been shipped to major overseas automotive customers, and new projects are being mass-produced.

Shenzhen Tianma recently disclosed the latest investor relations activity record sheet, which mentioned that Mini-LED backlight is one of the upgrade solutions for automotive displays. It can be matched with the existing mainstream LCD production technology and greatly improve the performance of LCD display products. The company's Mini-LED technology solutions have been shipped to major overseas automotive customers, and there are currently new projects for customers that will be mass-produced this year.

Regarding the progress of the company's Micro-LED technology in the automotive field, Shentianma said that Micro-LED is a cutting-edge technology that attracts a lot of attention, but maturity and commercialization take time. It can be used in automotive and other display fields in the future. The company has conducted a lot of technological development in flexible, highly transparent, and spliced displays. Related exhibits have won various international awards for many times. It has been conducting pre-research cooperation with international leading customers. The company will continue to actively follow up on the future development and application of this technology in the automotive display field. The Micro-LED production line that the company will jointly invest in in 2022 will also regard automotive as one of the key application areas of related technologies.

Regarding the growth rate of the company's automotive business, Shenzhen Tianma pointed out that in the first half of 2023, the company's automotive business will maintain steady development. It will continue to deepen the stickiness and business breadth of cooperation with existing customers by relying on years of deep cultivation and leading advantages. It will strive to improve the competitiveness of automotive Mini-LED products and lay out OLE while the automotive LTPS and automotive large screen businesses are growing rapidly.D resources; at the same time, the company will accelerate the development of its automotive electronics business, continue to actively develop new customers and obtain more new project opportunities for the world's top 10 car manufacturers, ensure mass production and delivery, and at the same time promote the rapid increase in new energy market share.

In addition, regarding the production capacity progress and planning of Wuhu's new display module line, Shentianma said that in 2022, the company announced a joint venture to build a new display module production line project (TM20) in Wuhu. According to the plan, the project is expected to produce 64.4 million pieces per year when it reaches capacity, and will mainly focus on the IT, vehicle-mounted and industrial product display fields. The project factory is currently closed and mass production will begin in 2024.
