Recently, three LED projects have accelerated their construction progress in Jiangsu and Shandong, involving LED packaging, Mini/Micro LED testing, LED modules and other manufacturing contents.

With an investment of over 500 million, the Liansheng Optoelectronics LED device project is expected to be put into production before the end of April

On April 18, Rudong announced that in the Ruhang Industrial Park of Jiangsu Rudong Economic Development Zone, the high-end consumer electronics special devices and LED device packaging manufacturing projects invested by Jiangsu Liansheng Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. are accelerating construction.

The total investment in this project exceeds 500 million yuan, of which equipment investment accounts for 300 million yuan. It aims to create an intelligent manufacturing model in the field of LED packaging in the Yangtze River Delta region. Currently, multiple production lines in the production workshop have entered the trial production stage, and imported equipment such as high-speed placement machines and solder paste printing machines have been debugged. Relying on the resource accumulation of Jiangxi Ganzhou Smart Lighting Industrial Park, the project has significant industrial chain synergy advantages. Its core products such as backlight modules and intelligent control modules are mainly supplied to industry leaders such as Huawei and Xiaomi.

It is understood that Liansheng Optoelectronics used local high-standard industrial plants to achieve rapid decoration and production. This project lays out a full range of product matrices such as SMD surface mount packaging, IMD packaging and COB packaging. At present, the layout of 30 production lines has been completed, and it is expected that all lines will be put into operation by the end of April. By then, the core COB process equipment on the first floor will also be running simultaneously.

In the future, with 100 LED packaging lines and 5 high-speed patch lines fully put into use, the factory will achieve efficient operation around the clock, with an estimated annual production capacity of 10 billion LED devices and 25 million electronic patch components.

Mini/Micro LED defect AI detection project landed in Haimen, Jiangsu

On April 15, according to the national-level Haimen Economic and Technological Development Zone, Haimen Economic and Technological Development Zone successfully signed five artificial intelligence technology innovation projects, including a Mini/Micro LED defect AI detection project led by Professor Jiang Xiaoheng of Zhengzhou University. This project focuses on the research and development of high-end intelligent inspection equipment in the new display field, using 2D and 3D machine vision and artificial intelligence technology to overcome the nanometer-level precision quality inspection bottleneck in the industry. The settlement of this project will provide key technical support for the quality control of the LED display industry.

With an investment of 100 million, the Linghang LED project signed a contract with Shandong Hekou

On April 13, according to Hekou Economic Development Zone news, a signing ceremony for the Linghang LED project was held in Hekou Economic Development Zone, Shandong. Jiangsu Linghang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. plans to invest 100 million yuan to build a local LED optoelectronic industry base integrating R&D, production and sales.

The project plans to build 6 high-speed automatic placement machine lines, 20 module aging lines, and multiple machine assembly and LCD display disassembly lines. After the project is put into operation, the products will be widely used in commercial displays, industrial lighting, smart cities and other fields, helping to further improve the electronic information industry chain in the park and enhance the overall competitiveness of the regional optoelectronics industry.
