American artist Janet Echelman recently displayed her large installation art works above Ross Kennedy Boulevard, Boston.
The whole work is like a big fishing net with an illusion, hanging around several high-rise buildings. Artists say she hopes to use this work to express his thoughts on Boston's history and modernity. As a coastal city of Boston, the fishing industry was very developed. There were several hills around the area where the works were exhibited. The same works of the fishing net can be dancing with the changes of the surrounding natural climate, so that people can see the distant past from the works.
Echelman also plans to install LED lighting on its works, lighting up the fishing nets like fishing buoys at night, and changing the colors with the wind, adding a charming landscape to the night sky of the city.
