Affected by many factors, GE's Current announced price increase 6%-10%

A few days ago, GE's Current company announced in a notice to distributors and agents that the price of some products rose by 6%--10%.

Chief Revenue Officer Deron Miller said in the notice:

"Due to the pressure of price inflation on commodities, transportation, metals and electronic components, GE's Current announced that some LED products had risen by 6%, while some traditional lighting products had risen by 10%.

The price of the LED product series will be updated in October 4th, and the price of traditional lighting will be updated in November 1st. Any questions about price changes can be contacted with your local GE sales representative.

At the time of global uncertainty, Current is also analyzing the impact of future cost changes. It may be necessary to adjust prices again, and we will announce future actions as needed.

In recent months, a number of American lighting manufacturers have announced price increases, including Acuity Brands, Eaton and North America, etc. (compile: LED net James)
