Agilent Technologies Inc. (Agilent Technologies) before the date for the outdoor electronic signs and signals the market high brightness LED (light emitting diode). This series of new medium power red (wavelength 630nm) and amber (wavelength 590nm) LED 5mm (T-1 3/4) semi circular dual in line package technology with elliptical lighting mode.
Compared with the Agilent 30mA high brightness LED oval, a series of AlInGaP (AlGaInP) LED can work in the current up to 70mA, to achieve a higher light output, the typical red and amber LED in the forward current of 70mA 3309mcd and 2521mcd respectively can realize luminosity.
Designers of electronic signs and signals are constantly seeking higher brightness levels to reduce the number of LED required in the same unit. Using Agilent's new medium power red and amber LED, you can achieve the same brightness with fewer LED. Conversely, if the same number of LED to design the logo, you can greatly enhance the brightness, improve readability and contrast effect. Because of its lead spacing and packaging are compatible with the traditional high brightness 5mm oval LED, so do not need to make any mechanical changes in the upgrade.
Compared with the standard LED products, the LED of the elliptical light emitting mode not only enlarges the visual angle, but also enhances the brightness, which makes the device suitable for outdoor applications which can be clearly readable in the sunlight. These medium power LED also have a smooth light mode, which can ensure the consistency of the signs or signals.
The LED series can provide two perspectives: red HLMP-AD31-UX000 and HLMP-AD30-UX000 (a stent, a stent and no amber HLMP-AL30-TW000) and HLMP-AL31-TW000 (a bracket, a bracket, no) can provide the 30X70 degree angle, usually used for traffic signal long distance HLMP-HD31-SV000 and HLMP-HD30-SV000 application; red and amber HLMP-HL31-RU000 and HLMP-HL30-RU000 (a bracket, a bracket, no) can provide the 40X100 degree angle, the scoreboard for stadiums and other information from the perspective of application of equal sign.
This series of medium power AlInGaP LED incorporates Agilent's precision optical mode package to meet higher current input and enhanced heat dissipation requirements. The chip package adopted by Agilent proprietary epoxy anti ultraviolet material mixed compression of the reflector cavity, so it can protect these LED to maintain high and stable working temperature range of +85 DEG C at -40 DEG C, and is not affected by the UV-A and UV-B of UV radiation and humid environment.
