BYD Lighting adopts BYD Microelectronics' technical achievements in dimming LED driver chips and successfully equips the GL-04 product with a four-stage dimming function. It adopts an isolation switch dimming scheme with a total power of 4.8W, including 100% brightness in the 1st stage, 55% brightness in the 2nd stage, 25% brightness in the 3rd stage, and 10% brightness in the 4th stage. Multiple levels are available, which better meets the diverse needs of users. It not only saves energy, but also makes the light more comfortable and eye-friendly.
This product does not require a dimmer and does not increase power supply costs. It can achieve four-stage dimming as long as there is a switch.
Under all brightness conditions, the power efficiency of the product can reach 75%, which is a good energy saving effect. Without affecting the user's brightness requirements for lamps, it can save more than 80% of energy compared with traditional lamps.
Since this product is compatible with any switch and has a small number of components, the solution is simple and efficient. It can be said to be the most compatible and cost-effective dimmable LED bulb currently on the market.
In addition to the switch dimming LED bulbs, BYD Lighting is also actively developing other cost-effective dimming products, such as infrared dimming applied to 20W-50W ceiling lamps, with a frequency of 38KHz, a remote control distance of 7m, and an angle of 30°. No need for obstructions, convenient and practical; and wireless radio frequency RF dimming technology with a frequency of 433MHz, a remote control distance of 8m, no angle restrictions, no need for metal obstructions, and extremely low power consumption of the remote control. The typical average current consumption during operation is 2MA, and the current when idle is 2UA. It is expected that a variety of cost-effective dimmable products will be launched in the middle of this year.
