Combined with traditional handmade art and digital technology, Broolyn designer Robert Deepen (robertdebbane) uses 3D printers to create a set of refined ornamentation lamps, which have made a useful exploration of the relationship between the two ways. The series of lighting in the "wanted Design Fair" (wanteddesignfair) during the 2015 New York design week (newyorkdesignweek2015) was made up of a variety of forms, such as chandeliers, desk lamps and chandeliers; each piece was deeply influenced by the numerous patterns of architecture and nature.
Among these fine and fine decorative patterns, there are many patterns of Islamic style, which are found and collected in Lebanon, the hometown of Di Ben.
It is this style of decoration that makes the "sidontablelamp", named after "Seton" in the southwestern city of Lebanon, a desk lamp consisting of a handmade walnut pedestal and a 12 inch diameter bulb.
Drawing inspiration from the natural pattern of nature, di Ben created a work called "galacticatablelamp".
This lamp, which fully reflects the scene of the universe and outer space, describes the magnificent scenery that can only be seen in distant space, with sophisticated, similar lace patterns.
After the light, the geometric pattern engraved on each lamp will cast the shadow of the heart on the surrounding wall; the light, the white light shell and the meticulous texture engraved on it are easily associated with the ancient art of relief. (Dr. Wang Feng)
