Suzhou Dongshan Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. invested approximately 700 million yuan in Gaobu and established a branch, becoming the company's only domestic production base outside Suzhou. Mainly It produces precision sheet metal processing, hardware, and microwave communication system equipment manufacturing, and produces and sells a series of products such as LED lighting products, LED backlights and LED displays, LED technology development and services. After the project is completed, annual sales are expected to be 1 billion to 2 billion yuan.
"Half of the factory is for stamping and half is for electronics. The first-phase project produces LED light bar particle modules, mainly used in computers, TV parts and other fields. The second-phase project cooperates with Huawei to produce communication antennas, and the other areas are light guide plate production bases. We have the ability to conduct independent research and development, and can also jointly conduct research and development with enterprises." Xu Zhiwei, general manager of Dongguan Dongshan Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd., told reporters. Xu Zhiwei said: "This is so far the only project in China that integrates LED, light guide plate, stamping, and backlight modules. This year's output value can reach at least 700 million yuan."
Dongguan Dongshan Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd.'s main customers include Samsung, Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, as well as Changhong, TCL, Konka, Skyworth, HP, Lenovo, Foxconn and many other well-known companies, and it has a high reputation in the industry. At present, the Dongguan production base mainly includes precision sheet metal processing, hardware, microwave communication system equipment manufacturing, production and sales of LED lighting products, LED backlights and LED displays, LED technology development and services, and other products.
Optimistic about the local investment environment
Listed companies often have careful layout and complete planning when setting up production bases. So why did Dongguan Dongshan Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. choose Gaobu, Dongguan? In Xu Zhiwei's view, this is the result of the integration of the company's development layout and local investment promotion policies.
"We previously had a branch office in Shenzhen for 3 years. Due to the limitations of the business location, as well as comprehensive consideration of operating costs, human resources and other factors, we felt that Dongguan was more suitable for our development layout, so we relocated the entire company. Come. We have also purchased production equipment and put into operation a new production line, and the production scale and production capacity have been greatly improved." Xu Zhiwei said that the current factory area has doubled compared to Shenzhen, reaching 100,000 square meters, and the production capacity will definitely double. This year's output value is expected to exceed 700 million yuan.
It is reported that the company began to contact the local government in May last year, signed a contract in August, and officially put into production in November. It only took three months from signing to putting into production, and its efficient operation has attracted much attention from the outside world. Xu Zhiwei said: "The opportunity we encountered to settle down here was due to the fact that we were looking for a factory at that time. It was not easy to find a factory with such a large area, and it had requirements for electricity, factory structure, traffic conditions, etc. It happened that Gaobu Town was attracting investment and had ready-made large-area factories. I We saw that the Gaobu government was very sincere and efficient, and the local investment environment was very good, so we settled there. We will continue to increase investment, improve hardware equipment and technology, and build the Dongguan production base into a high-quality and high-yield project.”
Dongguan Dongshan Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Human Resources Manager Lu told reporters: "After the company settled in, it quickly adapted to the local social environment and integrated the company's management with the local standards. We have conducted a survey in Gaobu Town and found that our company's security system, salary levels and other indicators are at the forefront of the town. We will continue to improve the security system, attract more outstanding talents, and contribute to local development."
Recently, representatives from HP came to the company for an on-site inspection to assess whether it could meet its required production standards.
Xu Zhiwei said: "If we pass the assessment requirements, we will carry out OEM production for HP. The company will receive a steady stream of OEM orders, and the business volume will increase rapidly. HP supports Samsung, LG, Foxconn and other companies. HP has not yet carried out any OEM cooperation with private enterprises. This may be the first time it has tried."
