According to the media report, Taiwan Institute of technology will sign a letter of intent with the US National Institute of standards and Technology (NIST). In the future, the two sides will cooperate with lighting and lighting to help Taiwan light emitting diode (LED) plant enter the US and global lighting market.
NIST was founded in 1901. It is mainly responsible for establishing and maintaining the national measurement standards. Its operation and function are equivalent to the national standard and Measurement Laboratory of China.
The Taiwan Institute of technology is expected to sign a letter of intent to cooperate with NIST in Washington on the 17 th of the United States to promote innovation and R & D cooperation between the two countries to a new milestone. In the future, both sides will work together on light and lighting, color and vision, optical biology and imaging, and international lighting standards.
Taiwan Institute of Technology said that the cooperation platform with NIST will help boost the strategic cooperation of the two lighting industries, accelerate the industrialization of R & D achievements, deepen industrial efficiency, and will help the domestic LED industry to attack the global lighting market.
