European Juropo company plans to sell 70 crystal growth furnaces to the Chinese market

As of 2013, 70 sapphire crystal growth furnaces have been sold in the Chinese mainland market. In 2014, Juropol plans to sell 70 crystal growth furnaces in the Chinese mainland market, of which 50 have been booked. As for the planned sales volume in 2015, Juropol gave a figure of "200 units."

Juropol's production manager Andrew Markiewicz said in an interview with reporters that the Jahont series crystal growth furnace is a representative product of Juropol. It adopts the new crystal growth technology developed by Juropol and combines it with an online process control system to automate and simplify the heating, crystal growth and cooling processes to achieve low cost and high profit margins. The entire system can be sold to customers and provides technical support. The Jahont series of crystal growth furnaces currently can be mass-produced in 30, 60, and 90 kilogram grades, with production capacities of 1000, 3000, and 5000mm TIE respectively. The 110 kilogram grade equipment is still in the research and development stage.

The current price of Jahont series crystal growth furnaces is US$200,000 to US$400,000 per unit.

According to Andrew Markiewicz, the EU-based Juropol company specializes in supplying materials and equipment in the field of single crystal sapphire. It also develops KY crystal growth methods and technological innovations, and has an advanced technical training center. Juropol's goal is to use the KY crystal growth method for more large-scale and efficient production of sapphires.

It is understood that Juropol, headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, started producing sapphire crystals in 2007 and was the first European manufacturer to introduce a KY crystal growth furnace. In 2008, it developed a competitive 30 kg crystal growth technology; in 2009, it began selling sapphire materials in Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, the United States and other regions; in 2010, it began the production and sales of raw materials and crystal growth furnaces. The company's current business includes the production and sales of raw materials (aluminum oxide powder, polycrystalline aluminum oxide blocks), equipment (CCIF furnaces, crystal growth furnaces), sapphire crystals and ingots, as well as technical support.
