Tencent digital news, for most of the night riding enthusiasts, although the night ride is very comfortable, but there are also a certain number of security risks. And the most serious of these is that drivers can't judge the direction of the Night Rider in the dark, and can not even observe the Night Rider.
Many smart hardware vendors are also aware of this problem, so they are constantly introducing a variety of bicycle accessories to ensure the safety of the riders. An intelligent bicycle helmet called "Lumos" came out recently, and the helmet with a built-in brake, steering and lighting indicator could greatly improve the safety index of riders on the night ride.
In appearance, Lumos is not very different from the traditional bicycle helmet. But it has a variety of indicator lights that can clearly show the rider's different riding intentions in the dark. The front end of the Lumos helmet is equipped with a white light, which can illuminate the road ahead for the Night Rider. The back side is obviously much more complicated than the red steering light and the brake light, and it is also equipped with a yellow warning lamp.
The Lumos helmet has a built-in rechargeable battery. It can be charged for half an hour through the micro USB port, and the duration of each time full of electricity is about a week. In addition, the helmet is waterproof, and can be easily used even on rainy days.
As an intelligent helmet, Lumos can activate the built-in light through a wireless remote control on the handle of a bicycle. But Lumos also has a built-in speed sensor, and when the speed of the car is slowed down, the brake light behind the helmet will automatically light up.
The Lumos smart helmet has been raised in 14 days to raise funds from Kickstarter, with a target of $125000 (about 776 thousand yuan) and the first day to complete the crowd. As a result, it has successfully raised more than $191000 (RMB 1 million 185 thousand and 800 yuan). If everything goes well, it is expected to start shipping officially in April 2016.
