In Guangdong, the output value of LED reached 281 billion 100 million in 2013

In May 27th, it was learned from the provincial science and technology department that as of now, 4 cities and other cities in Dongguan have taken the lead in completing the transformation task of LED lighting products such as street lamps.

According to the deployment of the provincial government in May 2012, the 9 cities of the Pearl River Delta should complete the LED transformation of street lighting and other public lighting fields within 2 years. According to the latest statistics of the provincial science and technology hall, 91% of the LED promotion and transformation work in the Pearl River Delta have been completed at present, of which Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhao Qingyi took the lead in completing the transformation task.

According to statistics, a total of 1321 batches of LED lights were tendering in 2013, with a total of 2 million 420 thousand, of which 1 million 100 thousand lamps and tunnel lights, and 1 million 320 thousand landscape lamps and indoor lamps. By the end of 2013, 1 million 200 thousand LED street lamps had been installed and used in the province, and 61% of the total task was completed. In 2014, it would reach 2 million, and the application scale was the first in the country.

With the LED industry warming up last year, more than 20 thousand LED enterprises in Guangdong are entering the "spring" of the industry. The provincial semiconductor lighting industry joint innovation center, the Shenzhen LED Association and other units jointly issued the LED industry operation monitoring report of the Guangdong province. The monitoring data showed that in 2013, the output value of the LED industry in the province increased significantly over the previous year, reaching 281 billion 103 million yuan, while the first quarter of this year was more optimistic, and the first quarter output value was 59 billion 296 million, a 22.19% increase over the same period.
