Jiangmen launches application for special funds for LED industry development

If Jiangmen City LED companies have made achievements in major industrialization projects, key and common technology research and development, major new product and new technology research and development, public platform construction (including e-commerce platforms, logistics platforms, etc.), then come and apply for Jiangmen LED industry development special funds. Declaration officially begins on the 17th.

In order to encourage investment in LED projects, improve corporate innovation capabilities, build independent brands, and make the LED industry bigger and stronger, Jiangmen City has set up special funds for the development of the LED industry. In terms of capital investment, the focus is on the development direction and core links of the LED packaging application industry, promoting the industrialization of independent innovation, cultivating independent intellectual property rights and independent brands; focusing on supporting the industrial chain, promoting the construction of Guangdong Province's strategic emerging industry (Jiangmen Green Light Source) base. In terms of the scope of support, the focus is on supporting projects such as the LED industry service platform, LED packaging application (lighting) industrialization, LED packaging application equipment industrialization, and LED packaging application supporting materials industrialization. In addition, the arrangement of special funds introduces a competition mechanism and adopts a competitive review method to achieve "Choose the best from the many, choose the best from the best."

According to relevant documents, LED companies can also apply for subsidies in terms of equipment purchase, group investment incentives, plant subsidy incentives, technology upgrades, brand and standard incentives, market development incentives, procurement of independent innovative product incentives, product testing discounts, etc.
