Jilin randomly inspected LED lamps from 14 companies, with a failure rate of 95%

days ago. The Jilin Industry and Commerce Bureau entrusted the Songyuan City Industry and Commerce Bureau to conduct random inspections on LED lamps produced and sold by 14 companies including Zhongshan City, Foshan City, and Jiangmen City. Focusing on testing the logo, lamp power, initial light efficiency, power factor, color characteristics, dielectric strength and other indicators, 19 out of 20 groups of samples were judged to be unqualified, with a failure rate of 95%. For LED lighting products with unqualified sampling inspection results, the industrial and commercial department has ordered relevant operators to take them off the counter in accordance with the law, and will investigate and deal with them in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. In response to problems that arise during testing, the Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce reminds consumers to pay attention to product packaging and trademarks when purchasing LED lamps. The outer packaging of genuine LED lamps should be marked with information such as rated voltage, voltage range, rated power, as well as brand trademarks and related certification marks. Moreover, the printing quality of the trademark on the outer packaging is good, the font is clear, and it is not easy to fall off. Even if it is wiped with a soft wet cloth, the trademark is still legible. The second is to look at the appearance of the lamp. The third is to look at the temperature during work. In working condition, the temperature of genuine LED lamps will not be too high and can be touched by hand. In addition, if the light of the LED light flashes, it also indicates that there is a problem with its quality. The fourth is to look at the electromagnetic interference situation. Fifth, after purchasing goods, don’t forget to ask for invoices, vouchers or purchase receipts. If you find that the goods have quality problems, you should pay attention to keeping the problematic goods and packaging boxes. At the same time, bring the invoices and problematic goods with you, and promptly file a complaint with the relevant department.
