Recently, Displaybank experienced more than and 20 days, through the website of the LED LCD TV awareness of a questionnaire survey. Of all the 565 respondents, there are 82% people believe that RGB-LED LCD TV more than CCFL TV product premium, and that the price difference between the two products in the 10-19% between the people accounted for nearly 36%.
Of the 10 panel experts interviewed, among them, there are 8 people believe that RGB-LED LCD TV than the current CCFL LCD TV more product premium, accounting for an estimated price difference of $22.2%. However, for Samsung Electronics launched last year, White-LED LCD TV, only 67% of respondents believe that PREMIUM products, and 46% of people think that the price difference between 0-9%.
White-LED LCD TV has an advantage in price competitiveness and mass production, but as the biggest difference between the characteristics of LED LCD color display capabilities, with the introduction of HD CCFL LCD TV, no longer has the advantage. In this regard, Displaybank believes that LED LCD TV must be pro environment, bright dark ratio, excellent animation, low energy consumption and other new features, to promote the consumer.
Displaybank believes that in 2008 the share of LED LCD TV is expected to be only 0.1% of the level, but after the rapid growth in 2010, is expected to reach $3.5% in 2010, reaching $7.5% in 2011.
