[China LED Netcom] supporters of LightFreq intelligent LED bulb are dumbfounded. According to foreign media reports, supporters who were delighted to buy LightFreq smart bulbs on the crowd raising platform had not yet received their products for eight months overdue.
LightFreq smart bulb launched its crowd raising activities in August 2014 on the overseas public funding platform Kickstarter, and successfully raised $50 thousand in target funds within 4 days. At the end of the campaign, it raised $275 thousand.
However, after the successful conclusion of the campaign, Devon Alli, the sponsor of the crowd raising campaign, did not send the product to its supporters, nor did it pay to his partner Dynamo company.
Dynamo said that Devon Alli had been looking for various reasons for refusing to pay. Initially, it said that no public funding had been received from the Kickstarter platform. But after Devon Alli got the money, the Dynamo company would never find him again. A spokesman for Dynamo said that we tried our best to find the whereabouts of fundraising, but there was no result. The sponsors disappeared after the event, leaving only a pile of unpaid invoices.
In June 2015, it was several months since the date of delivery. The first generation of LightFreq smart bulbs has not been sent to supporters. Devon Alli has launched a new round of crowd raising activities in another public funding platform Indiegogo, raising funds for LightFreq Square 2. Seeing that the second round of activity has already begun, the first group of supporters are very angry at the fact that they have not received the light bulb for the time being. They have sent messages in the Indiegogo platform to remind their supporters later.
In the end, the Indiegogo platform closed the crowd raising activity ahead of schedule, but the activity had raised 77000 dollars, and LightFreq got 70765 of it.
Foreign media said that supporters were cheated because the crowd raising platform did not carefully check the background of the promoters, and the supporters on the Kickstarter platform should be cautious. (translation / China LED net Flora)
