Longda and Jing electric announced revenue in July, down from last year.

Yesterday, Taiwan LED plant, Longda and Jing electric announced the revenue in July, and the performance of both companies declined year-on-year. Longda said that it will continue to adjust its product mix, and has sharply reduced the proportion of low profit lighting products and transferred to high technology and high value-added fields. While crystalline electricity indicates that the backlight and lighting demand will return to the temperature in August, the application of new products such as Mini LED and VCSEL will gradually be put on the agenda, which is expected to drive demand.

The combined revenue of Longda in July was 948 million yuan (NTD, the same below), a monthly increase of 4.3%, an annual decrease of 14.99%, and a cumulative revenue of 1 yuan from July to 6 billion 578 million in 2018, a decrease of 9.76% over the same period last year.

Longda said that the company's continuous adjustment of product mix has reduced the proportion of low profit lighting products, and intensified the customized lighting modules with high technology content and high added value, as well as high-power LED for special applications. Among them, the world's first RGBWW 5050 packaging products can significantly improve the dimming gamut, and use flip chip, enhance product reliability, suitable for indoor and outdoor high-end smart lighting applications.

In addition, Longda lighting components enter stage lighting, advertising lights and other special application markets. In the backlight part, due to the design trend of the full screen in the mobile phone market, Longda 0.3T LED product has ultra-thin and ultra small features, locking the high-order mobile phone panel to get customers' favor. In response to the demand for high contrast between TV and outdoor billboards, Longda continued to introduce high voltage HV LED products to direct backlight.

In the new field of application, Longda said that the LED components used in wearable devices have entered the world's top 5 sport Bracelet brands, and the grain and packaging products of UV (UV) LED also continue to be shipped for nail lighting and printing curing.

Crystalline electricity in July to achieve consolidated revenue of 1 billion 814 million yuan, by the lighting and backlight downstream customer inventory high, weak demand, revenue decreased by 0.1%, an annual reduction of 19.36%; the first 7 months of total revenue of 12 billion 256 million yuan, an annual reduction of 16.19%.

Looking forward to the third quarter, Zhou Mingjun, general manager of crystalline electric, pointed out that lighting customers have been digesting their inventory in the second quarter. In the third quarter, due to the gradual digestion of stocks, with the advent of Thanksgiving and other festivals, and the backlight demand is also clearly returning to the temperature, it is expected that the kinetic energy of backlight and lighting is expected to recover gradually in the third quarter, and the July performance is not different from that in June. It is big, but it is expected to recover from August.

Mini LED application section, crystalline Electric has now been exposed to end users including mobile phones, electronic competition, tablet, vehicle and TV applications. It is reported that the application of competitive applications has been found, and is expected to come out in the fourth quarter, and the demand kinetic energy can be expected.

VCSEL foundry business has previously said that the fourth quarter has the opportunity to ship a small quantity to 6 inch OEM customers, contributing revenue. Next year, there will be a large number of orders.
