Loss of 100 million euros confirmed four Infineon will split the memory chip

Infineon CEO Wolfgang ziebart (Wolfgang Ziebart) said Thursday that Infineon has decided to split the memory chip business, the move will help promote the development of the company and improve profit margins. From July 1st next year, Infineon memory chip business will become an independent legal entity. After the completion of the spin off, Infineon memory chip business is likely to be an initial public offering.

Ziebart said, after the memory chip business listing, Infineon will gradually reduce holdings of shares. He said: "the initial public offering of the memory chip business will help accelerate our cooperation with other companies." In addition, he did not disclose more details, because it is unclear what the memory chip business will be listed on the stock exchange.
