Lucid Automotive Design Studio adopts Samsung Micro LED The Wall

Samsung recently announced that it will deploy The Wall commercial display in the Lucid Group Inc. design studio to help optimize the collaborative design process for future electric vehicles.

It is reported that this 255-inch display uses advanced MicroLED technology, so Lucid designers can browse and review designs with realistic colors at a 1:1 ratio. At the same time, true tones present lifelike rendering designs, and high resolution accurately reproduces light reflections on complex 3D surfaces. This allows Lucid's engineering and design teams to work seamlessly together, speeding up the decision-making process and saving companies a lot of time and money.

Jenny Ha said that The Wall has completely changed the cooperation model between the design and engineering teams. With this technology, we can easily visually present design data such as engineering suggestions and simulation results, and preview the impact of any changes on the overall design in real time. In other words, the R&D team now operates more efficiently, allowing drivers to enjoy upgraded luxury aesthetics without sacrificing excellent vehicle performance. It's not easy to achieve such a great level, but The Wall made it happen for us.

The flexible and slim design of The Wall display also saves a lot of valuable space in the studio at Lucid's headquarters, allowing teams from multiple disciplines to use the space to conduct collaborative design workshops to perfect every detail of the vehicle and give drivers the premium driving experience they deserve.
