Outdoor lighting manufacturers can combine LUXEON XR-TX modules with existing lenses and actuation to achieve better performance, simplify supply chain management and speed up product launch.

Today, Lumileds has released a new LUXEON XR-TX module, which contains 12 LUXEON TX high luminous efficiency LEDs. Under typical driving conditions, it can generate 3300 lumens of luminous flux and luminous efficiency of 140 lm/W. Under a convenient rigid contour, it can be conveniently combined with third party lenses and actuation to complete the design quickly, and push the product to the market of road lighting, tunnel lighting and high / low shed lighting applications. "Our matrix platform products can reduce the number of LEDs, electronic devices and connectors, and reduce the design cost behind the development of lamps and lanterns," said Andrew Cohen, product manager of Lumileds matrix platform.

For lighting manufacturers, the further advantage comes from the assembly process developed and used by Lumileds. "Compared with the huge challenges of selecting and designing single LEDs for diversity and diversity, our patented selection and placement system allows customers to confidently gain compact control over luminous flux, forward voltage and color specifications on board," Cohen points out. The LUXEON XR-TX module has a variety of color temperature specifications: 4000K, 5000K and 5700K, and its minimum color rendering index is (CRI) 70. It is an ideal choice for road lighting and high shed / low shed lighting applications. Each module is equipped with aluminum (copper) based PCB board to achieve the best thermal conductivity. It is easy to install into the heat sink screw holes and convenient wire connection ports. Multiple LUXEON XR-TX flower combinations (up to 7 tablets) can achieve multiple system matching and the necessary level of luminous flux.

This new module is part of LUXEON LEDs combined with rigid base or linear flexible baseband and Lumileds matrix platform that can be configured indefinitely. The matrix platform has two options, customization and customization, which can provide almost unlimited solutions for any application.
