Matsushita Electronics (Matsushita Electric), developed in line with the USB On-The-Go (OTG) specifications LSI transceiver AN32045A, will begin to supply samples in late January 2006. The transceiver LSI is available in a 28 lead QFN package, with an outline size of 4.2mm x 5.2mm x 0.8mm, power consumption of approximately 280mW.
According to reports, USB OTG specifications can not be through the computer, the direct use of USB peripherals connected together. This time, in order to reduce the LSI transceiver and the delay of connection between the layers, and improve the quality of communication, Matsushita is developing a USB connection layer circuit (Oxford Semiconductor) to join the Oxford Semiconductor Ltd of the relevant standards and the link layer connection circuit.
In addition, through the USB power supply, the LSI can support more than 50mA current. Therefore, the 5V can be reduced to 3.2V ~ 4.3V input voltage boost to the charge pump circuit on resistance.
