Mini LED light vegetable garden makes urban farmers possible.

What do you think of vegetables? Think of it. On Saturday night, you pick up a bowl of fresh vegetables from your backyard, and then sprinkle your fresh spices on your hands to make pasta. Sounds great?

Grove uses the principle of fish and vegetable symbiosis and combines aquaculture vegetables and fish culture to create an indoor self-sufficient Mini ecosystem. Grove, the company that runs the concept of sustainable use, has built a self circulation ecosystem through intensive development and design process. It combines LED lights and uses fish and vegetable symbiosis concept to enable users to grow vegetables indoors.

Grove has launched a $100 thousand target in the group raising platform, and they have successfully raised $217 thousand. Grove uses a LED lamp that mimics sunlight to stimulate photosynthesis in plants. Although the ecosystem is small, the planting area can be denser than the soil cultivation. That is to say, an average of 20 days can harvest 8-10 lettuce.

Fish and vegetable symbiosis refer to the decomposition and filtration of impurities in the fish's excrement and water, and the composition of ammonia (urea, commonly known as ammonia), which is then fed to the fish tank, also known as farming or symbiotic cultivation. In this system, the water used by the fish will be decomposed into nutrients by ammonia fixing bacteria, and the water will be returned to the aquarium. The concept of fish and vegetable symbiosis is applied and the trouble of cleaning the fish tank is also avoided, because the excrement of fish will become the nutrient of plants after treatment.

The Grove ecosystem allows you to become a city farmer, self-sufficient. Using Grove's hydroponic platform, you can grow vegetables such as sesame, watercress, kale, cabbage and other spices, such as celery, mint and basil. It can even grow some results that make people feel more successful, such as tomatoes, beans and peas. According to Grove's web page, strawberries also grow up!

Grove is equipped with full spectrum natural light LED lamp with color temperature ranging from 2000K to 5000K. Dimmable LED lamps can mimic the sun's rays and stimulate photosynthesis in plants. The roof of the entire ecosystem can be adjusted up and down to allow users to change the intensity and area of light according to their needs.

When the plant reaches the number of days to harvest, app will send out the harvest method. Like all products with wisdom in the name, the Grove ecosystem has its own app. Users only need to input vegetable names on app, so they can receive various kinds of small reminders and knowledge supplements during planting. For example, when the plant reaches the number of days to harvest, it also sends out a small reminder of the harvest method.

Although Grove sounds beautiful, its price may not be so cute, and it costs $2700 for a Grove on Kickstarter. Grove is expected to ship to the world in May 2016.
