Mini LED market competition intensifies TCL TV continues to make breakthroughs in large-screen development

Since the beginning of this year, TV panel prices have rebounded, and TV brands have begun a new round of grabbing the market. On the evening of August 28, TCL held a QD-Mini LED TV new product launch conference to continuously improve the level of large screens and clarity.

Overview data shows that TV panels gradually heated up in the first half of this year, and panel manufacturers adjusted their size structure, significantly reducing the supply of small sizes and increasing large-size production capacity. Under the influence of market demand tending to larger sizes, especially 75/80+ inches have grown significantly.

As the trend of large-screen TVs intensifies, TV brands continue to layout. TCL has been deeply involved in Mini LED TVs for many years, and this time it has increased the size limit of Mini LED TVs from 98 inches to 115 inches. The larger the TV screen, the harder it is to control the display quality of the TV picture. Currently, TCL Huaxing has a super-large screen production line, the G11 generation line, which has greatly improved the picture quality and display quality of super-large screen Mini LED TVs.

Regarding the long-criticized startup advertisements, TCL has opened up desktop management rights, and the spiritual control desktop has completely removed the startup advertisements. However, the initial price of 79,999 yuan made many netizens call it a “luxury house”. TCL stated that it will continue to explore ultra-large screen size and image quality in the future, and continuously improve the limits of Mini LED TVs.

CMM predicts that as the number of manufacturers launching Mini LED products gradually increases, market competition begins to intensify, and the product structureRapidly upgrading from mainstream 55-inch to 75-inch products to 85-inch and 98-inch products; at the same time, the average price has declined, and it is expected that Mini LED products will usher in an era of involution in the second half of the year.
