Nine LED display group standards of China Optics and Optoelectronics Industry Association passed expert review

Introduction to China Optics and Optoelectronics Industry Association:

On January 23, 1987, the China Optical and Optoelectronics Industry Association (formerly known as the China Optical Industry Association) was established in Beijing. Yan Jici, former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, delivered an opening speech. Wang Daheng, an optical expert and academician of the two academies of science and technology, former vice chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology, gave a work report. Zhu Rongji, former deputy director of the National Economic Commission, Xie Gaojue, former minister of the Ministry of Electronics, and Qian Zhenmeng, former deputy director of the Office of the Science and Technology Leading Group of the State Council, attended the meeting and delivered congratulatory messages. The conference elected Mr. Yan as the honorary chairman of the association, and Mr. Wang Daheng, a master of "two bombs and one satellite" optics and one of the national 863 launch experts, as the first chairman.

China Optics and Optoelectronics Industry Association has more than a thousand corporate members and seven branches according to professional fields: LED display application branch, optoelectronic device branch, liquid crystal branch, laser branch, infrared branch, optical components and optical instruments branch, and laser application branch.

China Optics and Optoelectronics Industry Association Two group standards, "Indoor Small Pitch LED Display" and "LED Display Energy Efficiency Test Method", won the honorary certificate of "Hundred Group Standard Application Demonstration Projects" from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2018. They were also recognized by Han Jun, then Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and gave directional instructions for the future group standard work of the China Optical and Optoelectronics Industry Association.
