Notice! Four lighting-related standards released

On April 4, 2019, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration approved and issued 21 national standards including the "Motor Vehicle Daytime Driving Light Light Distribution Performance", including 4 standards related to the lighting industry, as follows:

GB 5920 specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for light distribution performance of front lights, rear lights, side lights and brake lights of automobiles and trailers.

GB 23255 stipulates the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for the light distribution performance of daytime running lights of motor vehicles, and is applicable to various types of daytime running lights used in L, M and N class vehicles.

GB 30255 specifies the energy efficiency levels, energy efficiency limit values, test methods, etc. of LED downlights, directional integrated LED lamps, and non-directional self-ballasted LED lamps for indoor lighting.

GB 37478 specifies the energy efficiency limits, energy efficiency levels and test methods for LED lamps for road and tunnel lighting. It is applicable to LED lamps for road and tunnel lighting with a rated voltage of AC 220 V and a frequency of 50 Hz (including LED light sources and their control devices, excluding independently installed interconnected control components or other functional accessories unrelated to lighting).
