OSRAM subsidiary Fluence is currently CEO resigns and is responsible for R & D.

A few days ago, Nick Klase, chief executive officer of OSRAM Fluence Bioengineering, resigned from the post of CEO and will be responsible for the R & D Department of the company.

"In order to ensure the best position of Fluence in the global horticultural market, I decided to take up a new position in Fluence," Nick Klase said in a blog post on the company's website. "I will enter a role of strategic consultation, focusing on research, innovation and product mix strategy."

At the same time, Nick Klase appointed Fluence chief operating officer David Cohen as the company's new CEO.

Nick Klase said, "David Cohen has the experience and energy to ensure the success of Fluence. I will work with Fluence R & D team to ensure that we have the most innovative and influential product mix selection in the industry."

David Cohen joined Fluence in August this year as chief operating officer. Prior to that, he served as director of Fraen Corporation and Schr e der Lighting LLC in the United States and served as general manager of Fu Chang Electronics (Future Electronics).

Nick Klase previously launched the Build My LED brand and later appeared in Fluence Bioengineering in September 28, 2012.

Note: Fluence Bioengineering is a special lighting company in the United States. Its main business includes developing and selling lighting products for vegetables and medicinal plants. It was purchased by OSRAM in the 2 quarter of this year. OSRAM said the acquisition will expand OSRAM's plant lighting portfolio. (Editor: LED net James)
