Pay attention to these four changes! Interpretation of the new national standard lamps GB7000.1-2015

The latest national standard lamp GB7000.1-2015 lamps first parts: General requirements and test was officially released in December 31, 2015, and will be implemented from January 1, 2017.

Compared with the current standard GB7000.1-2007, the standard has a large difference, which will have a substantial impact on the lighting manufacturers. This article describes some of the more typical differences in terms of the new standard for reference.

1 nameplate marking significant changes

F series of very familiar with the enterprise logo is no longer used in the GB7000.1-2015, instead of the pictorial logo warning signs, as shown in the following figure.

2 clear blue light hazard requirements

Luminaires with integral LED or LED modules should be evaluated for blue light hazard according to IEC/TR 62778.

For portable and Nightlight for children, measured in 200mm blue light hazard level at a distance of not more than RG1.

The movable lamp and lanterns, if the blue light hazard rating measured at 200mm at a distance of more than RG1, you need to mark "don't stare at the light" symbol in the lamp outside the striking position, as shown below. At the same time, the location of the symbol should also be able to avoid the user to see the symbol at the same time to see the light source. According to the above requirements, the enterprise should not be marked on the LED lamps such as the installation of the surface or on the smooth surface.

For fixed lamps, if the level of the blue light at the 200mm distance is more than RG1, it is necessary to determine the critical distance of the lamp at RG1. The manufacturer shall provide the distance value in the product specification for reference to the lighting designer and the constructor.

3 reduce SELV circuit wire diameter requirements

Section 5.2.2 standard, if there are enough mechanical properties and current carrying capacity, SELV III circuit in the lamp or lamps in external cables, or other types of lamps used between the components of the III connection, the maximum rated current does not exceed the wire cross-sectional area of 2A in the circuit can be less than 0.75 or 1 square mm, but not less than 0.4 mm.

4 is not allowed to be grounded through the built-in control device

Clause 1 of the standard 7.2.1 provides that a luminaire shall not be permitted to be grounded by means of an internal control device. However, at present, some lamps on the market tend to take the built-in control device as the ground wire of the lamp. According to the requirements of the new standard, a qualified practice is to connect the ground wire of the lamp and the metal shell of the lamp, and then connect the ground wire of the built-in control device to the ground wire of the lamp, as shown in the following figure.
