Rowley LED new conference center

September 2008, 211 feet long, up to a height of 44 feet (9284 square feet) of LED wall art will be in Rowley, North Carolina (Raleigh) on the outer wall of the new Convention center. It is reported that there would be no public funds to build the wall, located in Durham, North Carolina, LED manufacturer CREE donated $1 million to help build the wall.

During the day, the walls are painted in oak, for the nickname of the city is the oak tree, which will change its shape and disappear when it is blown by the wind. At night, the 1344 LED will illuminate the wall from the back. The wall consists of 4 feet of 28 control devices, each including a foot of 12 LED. A total of 14 partitions, each with 2 sets of control devices, and the use of RGB optical lens. The input power of the control device is 25 W/ft, and the LED is controlled by DMX512. The control device for the art wall can be programmed to display more than 1 million colors. LED can make the wall in the night show North Carolina Hurricanes red, and the other is to show the green on St. Patrick's day night.

Raleigh is the first to join the Cree LED city project, the project aims to expand the joint regional government and enterprises in the city to promote the full range of facilities, the development of LED technology.
