It is understood that a new lighting and tunnel lighting renovation project is being carried out in Chongqing high beach rock interchange to G93 toll station recently. The LED lighting is adopted on the whole line, and the lighting quality will be improved and the driving environment improved.

From the south of the section of the project to the high beach rock interchange, north to G93 Shapingba toll station, the total length is about 18.5km (of which the tunnel length is about 3.8 km, and the length of the road is about 14.7 km. Along the line there are the West Wing interchange, the Lai Jia Bridge Interchange, the earth main interchange and the logistics park interchange 4 interchange, the Wangjia bridge super large bridge and the Da Xue Cheng tunnel).

In order to ensure construction progress, effective operation time and avoid traffic jams, the reconstruction of the University Town tunnel is carried out at 11 o'clock in the night to 6 o'clock in the morning. At the same time, in order not to affect the traffic lights, the unilateral lighting facilities in the tunnel are demolished and newly built, while the original lighting facilities on the other side are kept on normal lighting.

In addition to transforming the original high-pressure sodium lamp into a high luminance LED tunnel dedicated luminaire, the University Town tunnel project will adopt an advanced remote intelligent control system to make the illumination intensity of the tunnel suit the brightness of the natural light outside.

It is reported that the project uses LED lamps on the whole line, which greatly reduces energy consumption and saves energy. Among them, the University Town tunnel can reduce energy consumption by 40% per year, save electricity by 120 thousand degrees, and reduce carbon emissions by 95 tons.
