TI launched the world's most advanced Da Vinci semiconductor technology

Days ago, TI (TI) announced the launch of Da Vinci (DaVinci) of the world's most advanced semiconductor technology for a new generation of digital video products. Da Vinci technology is a digital video applications and customized DSP solutions for video device manufacturers to simplify the design and accelerate product innovation to provide integrated processors, software and tools.

TI plans to launch Da Vinci based processor samples, software and development tools by the end of 2005. Da Vinci based solutions are being intensively designed, including digital cameras, car infotainment products, portable media players, set-top boxes and video surveillance systems, etc..
