The group standard review meeting for the "General Technical Requirements for Asynchronous LED Display Players" was held online. Technology, Alto Electronics, Lianjian Optoelectronics, Ledman Optoelectronics, Shanghai Sansi, Xi'an Qingsong, Nanjing Lopu, Changchun Xida, Chitron North, Shendecai and other industry representative companies, including technical representatives of professional companies such as Nova, Lingxingyu, Lingxin Technology and other related technical standards, attended this group bid review meeting. Despite the online communication, the National Standards Committee members, experts and members of the standards group participating in the review, especially the specially invited expert representatives from related fields, were all able to attend the meeting on time, which fully reflected the importance attached to the review of this group's standards. This time the group standard of "General Technical Requirements for Asynchronous LED Display Players" (Draft for Comments) was drafted by Shanghai Yangbang Technology Co., Ltd. and experts from the industry technical group. In order to come up with a group bidding plan with quality that can withstand testing, the drafting party worked creatively, consulted experts from multiple parties and revised the draft several times on the basis of the initial draft. Until this review meeting, the drafting party's CEO and his team gave up their normal vacation and worked overtime to improve the draft for comments.
At the meeting, the convener, Deputy Secretary-General Cai Guangchao, first introduced the basic situation of the China Optics and Optoelectronics Industry Association’s LED Display Application Branch’s work in promoting standards for LED display application groups. In view of the rapid development of LED display applications at home and abroad in recent years, there has been a strong demand for the standardization of asynchronous LED players. The formulation of relevant standards for asynchronous LED display players is increasingly urgent and important for communicating upstream and downstream of the industry chain, and for guiding and promoting the sustainable and healthy development of my country's LED display industry. The group standards business of the China Optical and Optoelectronics Industry Association corresponds to the National Standardization Technical Committee for Flat Panel Display Devices (SAC/TC547) and the International Organization for Standardization IEC/TC110. Zhao Ying, technical director of the China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute, is also the chairman of the Group Standardization Committee of the China Optical and Optoelectronics Industry Association.
Since December 26, 2017, the LED Display Application Branch officially obtained the authority to formulate and publish group standards, the association has successively launched the "Surface-mounted Light Emitting Diode Products (SMD) Series Spectrum for Indoor Small Pitch/Mini Full Color LED Displays" and "Asynchronous Grayscale LED The formulation of many group standards such as "General Technical Requirements for Display Controllers (Cards)", "General Technical Specifications for Indoor COB Small Pitch LED Displays", "Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Levels of Outdoor Displays (1)", "Indoor SMD P2.5/P1.9 LED Cloud Screen". On January 14, 2019, the two group standards "Indoor Small Pitch LED Display" and "LED Display Energy Efficiency Test Method" were selected into the 2018 Group Standard Application Demonstration Project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Today, various group standards have been released one after another over a period of more than two years.
