Recently, the launch meeting for the formulation of three national standards, including the semiconductor lighting specification interface, was organized and compiled by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Key Laboratory of Semiconductor Lighting Joint Innovation as the leading unit was held in Beijing. In order to ensure the quality and level of standards, the State Key Laboratory of Joint Innovation in Semiconductor Lighting has strengthened coordination with relevant parties, invited key enterprises in the semiconductor lighting industry, scientific research institutes, and testing institutions to participate in the meeting and solicit opinions extensively. The three national standards discussed this time are "LED lighting application interface requirements: street lights with separate control devices and self-contained heat dissipation LED modules", "LED lighting product accelerated attenuation test method (2000 hours)", and "LED Public Lighting Intelligent System Interface Application Layer Communication Association". Li Jinmin, director of the State Key Laboratory of Joint Innovation in Semiconductor Lighting, said that the support of the standard system is very important for the healthy development of the semiconductor lighting industry. He hopes that more relevant units will participate in the preparation of standards and jointly formulate national standards that are technologically forward-looking, scalable and industry-promoting and implementable.
