The world’s first, LG Electronics launches native 1000Hz refresh rate gaming monitor

On May 18, LG Electronics announced the world’s first native dual-thousand-core gaming e-sports monitor, LG UltraGear 25G590B.

This monitor has a resolution of FHD (1920*1080) and a native 1000Hz refresh rate, which can meet the smoothness, motion clarity and overall responsiveness required by gamers. The 25G590B uses a 24.5-inch IPS anti-glare panel, which supports MBRR enhanced low motion blur technology and end-side gaming AI functions. It has a small-sized base with scales, UltraGear ambient light effects, and is covered with a low-reflective film.

25G590B integrates gaming AI functions built into the device to enhance immersion and ease of use. The AI scene optimization function can enhance visual realism and depth by intelligently adjusting picture settings to suit the game type, while the AI sound effects can provide a more realistic spatial audio experience, accompanied by clearer in-game communications.

LG Electronics pointed out that unlike dual-mode monitors that require players to switch screen display sizes or resolution settings to achieve peak refresh rates, the 25G590B provides native 1000Hz performance by default, which can meet the training and competition requirements of e-sports players.

The person in charge of the display business of LG Media and Entertainment Solutions said: “By launching the world’s first native 1000Hz FHD gaming monitor, LG has established a new performance benchmark for competitive gaming.
