1. Indoor installation:

Four, the 2 causes of heating in LED lamp

1, line design problem: the most commonly used specifications of LED lamp are 12V and 24V two kinds of voltage, 12V is 3 series parallel structure, 24V is 6 series parallel structure. Because the LED light belt is to be connected to use, how long each lamp can be connected, and the width of the circuit and the thickness of the copper foil at the time of design. Because the current intensity per unit area is related to the cross section of the line, if the wiring is not taken into account when the connection length exceeds the current that the line can bear, the light belt will heat over the current, and at the same time, the service life of the LED is also reduced.

2, production process problem: because the LED lamp is a series parallel structure, so when a circuit has a short circuit, it will cause the other LED voltage to rise in the same group, the brightness of the LED will increase, and the corresponding calorific value will rise as well. The most obvious is that in the 5050 lamp belt, when the 5050 lamp has short circuit in any of the chip circuits, the current of the short circuit will double, that is, the 20mA becomes 40mA, the brightness of the lamp will become bright, but at the same time the amount of heat will increase, and it will burn the PCB in a few minutes. However, this problem is relatively obscure, generally not much to pay attention to, because the short circuit does not affect the normal light of the lamp, if the staff in charge of testing only pay attention to whether the LED is luminous, but not to check the brightness of the abnormal, or do not do the appearance inspection, only do electrical testing, often ignore this problem, this is also a problem. It's why many manufacturers of LED lights always meet customers who complain that products are hot but can't find the reason.

The solution:

1. Line design:

The circuit is as wide as possible, and the distance between the lines is 0.5mm enough, and the rest of the space is best to be full. The thickness of copper foil is not in violation of the customer's requirement for the total thickness of the PCB. The thickness of the copper foil is 1~1.5 OZ.

2. Production process:

A, when printing the solder paste, try not to have tin phenomenon between the plates, so as to avoid short circuiting caused by bad printing.

Avoid short circuit when B or patch.

C, check the patch position before reflux;

D, reflux after the appearance of the first check, to ensure that the lamp has no short circuited phenomenon after an electrical survey, check when the review of LED light after there is no abnormal bright or abnormal dark phenomenon.

Five, LED light belt should be paid attention to in maintenance

1, anti static: because LED is an electrostatic sensitive element, if the maintenance of LED lamp belt does not do anti static measures, it will burn out LED, causing waste. It is important to note that the soldering iron must be used as an antistatic soldering iron, and the maintenance personnel must also do the anti static measures (such as wearing electrostatic rings and antistatic gloves etc.)

2, continuous high temperature: the two important parts of the LED lamp belt, LED and FPC, are all products that can not endure high temperature. If FPC continues high temperature or exceeds its temperature, the cover film of FPC will be bubbling, which directly causes the LED lamp to be scrapped. At the same time, LED can not endure high temperature. It will be burned at high temperature for a long time at high temperature. Therefore, the soldering iron used in the maintenance of the LED lamp must be used for the temperature control iron, and the temperature is limited to a range, so it is forbidden to change and set freely. In addition, even so, it is necessary to pay attention to the maintenance of the iron in the maintenance of the LED foot stop for more than 10 seconds, if more than that time, it is likely to burn the LED chip.

3, short circuit: a lot of LED light belt is bad because there is a short circuit in the foot, it is necessary to find out the real bad reason before maintenance. Otherwise, after changing the bad LED, it will continue to cause the LED's chip to be broken down by short circuit. So, before changing the new LED, we must first find out the real cause of the bad, the remedy to the case can be twice the result.
