The draft regulations proposed in 2020 will be the effective prohibition of tungsten halogen and compact fluorescent lamp as light source.
As a part of "ecological design" law review, the minimum efficiency of all light is 85 lumens per watt, maximum standby power of 0.5 watts, will come into effect.
Because of the efficiency standard of tungsten halogen lamp is about 25 lumens / watt, and ballasts with compact fluorescent lamps can only reach 60 LM / W, so these two technologies will be the new regulations removed.
Ecological design is often called the "bulb ban", namely phasing out inefficient source of eu. In recent years, the law gradually ban the incandescent light source, in September this year will gradually eliminate non directional halogen lamps, candles, including GLS (A50, A60, and incandescent lamps), golf ball shape.
The removal from the market of compact fluorescent lamps have a symbolic high, because of the compact fluorescent lamp lighting in 90s on behalf of environmental protection. However, despite the compact fluorescent lamp penetrates in commercial applications, but the owners were never put in the heart, many people complain that the temperature is low, long start-up time. The presence of mercury is also considered its fatal weakness, because Mercury is not environmentally friendly.
Although few people will leave on energy-saving lamp condolences, but live entertainment industry have launched a campaign against the elimination of tungsten halogen lamp movement. The campaign launched by the association of lighting designers, called Save Stage Lighting (save stage lighting).
A draft of the new rules also offer to return to the previous use of lighting lamps can be replaced. According to the current wording, lamp manufacturers will let light removable and replaceable from the lamp before September 2020. The draft stipulates that "manufacturers and importers should ensure that the regulations within the scope of the light source and a control device separately, the end user can easily remove, without causing permanent mechanical damage."
These suggestions if it goes through, have a significant impact on the production of lamps. (Editor: LED James)
