Visionox obtains OLED display patent authorization from Japan Semiconductor Energy Research Institute

On July 14, Visionox announced that the company plans to sign a "Patent License Agreement" with Japan's Semiconductor Energy Laboratory Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SEL") to obtain patent licenses related to the OLED display field to manufacture, use and sell OLED display panels and OLED display module products globally.

The "Patent License Agreement" stipulates that a listed company has the right to grant to its subsidiaries (holding/shareholding) sublicenses based on the licenses and rights granted under the "Patent License Agreement". Hefei Visionox Technology Co., Ltd. and Hefei Guoxian Technology Co., Ltd., as AMOLED display panel manufacturers, are bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement.

According to reports, SEL is a laboratory engaged in R&D and patent licensing business. Its main business areas involve OLED displays, oxide semiconductors, and rechargeable batteries. It has a variety of patents and utility model rights for OLED display panels and modules in many countries around the world.

According to the agreement, SEL granted Visionox a non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license, and Visionox accepted the license to better manufacture OLED display panels and OLED display module products globally, and to use, sell, offer for sale, import, export or otherwise dispose of such OLED display panels and OLED display module products.
