牵手成功, 加拿大lumenpulse收购美国sternberg lighting

Lumenpulse, a leading Canadian manufacturer of high performance and specification LED lighting, has announced that it has acquired a stake in Sternberg Lighting 80%.

Lumenpulse was founded in 2006 to design, develop, manufacture and sell various high-performance and sustainable LED lighting solutions for commercial, institutional and urban environments. And won numerous awards and recognition, including a number of product innovation awards (PIA), the next generation of Next Generation Luminaires (NGL), red dot design award and Lightfair Innovation Award.

Sternberg Lighting is a manufacturer of outdoor lighting and urban LED lighting solutions in Illinois. After the acquisition, another 20% stake will remain in the hands of employees.

"We are very pleased that Sternberg has become a member of the Lumenpulse group," said Francois-Xavier Souvay, chief executive of Lumenpulse group. "The deal is in line with Lumenpulse group's growth strategy. The US market began to adopt the latest LED technology to improve the urban environment. Therefore, the acquisition of Sternberg in the streets, regional and municipal lighting areas is an important part.

Founded in 1923, Sternberg Lighting has maintained its leading position in the construction and decorative street lighting industry with the latest technology. Sternberg Lighting combines the retro style decorative style lamps with today's requirements for sustainability and energy saving to lead the development of the industry. After the acquisition, Sternberg Lighting will remain an independent business entity.

The company is most active in the US market, and has over 450 thousand installations in the United States and Canada, including many municipal landmark projects and university campuses, such as MIT and Notre Dame de Paris.

Joe Waldau, President and chief executive officer of Sternberg Lighting, will continue to be the current position of Sternberg Lighting, while Mark Dean, vice president of marketing and business development, will act as chief operating officer and take charge of all daily activities of the company.
