Apple's new patent: LED keyboard and multi-touch display

On the 27th, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office released an Apple patent application, which shows that this patent is related to the development of LED keyboards. Although not as detailed as last month’s patent titled “Gesture Controlled Keyboard and Keyboard Supporting Graphical Image Symbol Display,” today’s patent still shows us that Apple will continue to work in this area. This particular invention also points to the possibility that future Macs will feature multi-touch screens.
In Apple's patent, they mentioned that the input structure includes a keyboard (22) and backlight input (30). The backlight emits light towards the keys of the keyboard. The backlight also improves the visibility of the keyboard, provides users with better operations, or helps users. The backlight is a combination of light arranged in the key position, in this case, what is commonly known as an LED. Apple further mentioned that the display (18) may integrate input structures. This display may be a touchscreen liquid crystal display (LCD), which allows users of electronic devices to better interact with the user interface. This display may also be a multi-touch screen, capable of detecting multiple touch points at the same time, and is also considered to be applied to future MacBooks.
