Us recall of LED bulbs in China

 On July 15, 2014, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Halco jointly announced a voluntary recall of LED bulbs made in China. The recalled product is called pruled bulbs. It is an LED bulb for outdoor safety protection. It has a silver white metal conical shell. The product is 14W or 18W, including models PAR30 and PAR38. The number of recalled products sold in the United States is about 9500. Reason for recall: LED bulbs may overheat and fall, which may cause injury and burn to consumers. So far, Halco company has received five accident reports of LED bulbs falling off from sockets, but no casualties have been caused. To this end, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recommended that consumers immediately stop using the product, remove the bulb from the fixed position, and contact Halco company to replace the LED bulb for free.
