Longli Technology Obtains Mini/Micro LED Mass Transfer Invention Patent

The document shows that the invention patent provides a method for manufacturing micro-light-emitting diode display devices. Through liquid transfer technology, large quantities of Micro LED or Mini LED can be transferred to the target substrate simply, quickly and accurately in a highly orderly and controllable manner. The manufacturing cost is low and the yield rate is high, which effectively solves a major bottleneck of large-volume transfer in the commercialization process of Micro LED and Mini LED.

Longli Technology stated that the above patents were independently developed by the company and will be applied in the company's related businesses in the future. The patents will help promote independent innovation, give full play to the technical advantages of the company's independent intellectual property rights, improve the intellectual property protection system, and thereby enhance the company's core competitiveness.

At present, Longli Technology is developing rapidly in the Mini/Micro LED field, and MiniLED backlight products have successively won the favor of leading companies in the automotive, display, VR equipment and other industries. In terms of automobiles, Longli's MiniLED backlight products have been successfully applied in batches to already-launched models such as Weilai and SAIC Feifan. In early December this year, Longli officially signed a 3.027 billion yuan MiniLED vehicle backlight order with Bosch to provide the BMW project with vehicle display module products required from 2025 to 2033.

In terms of displays, in 2021, the first 34-inch MiniLED curved gaming monitor released by Longli in cooperation with TCL Group has been mass-produced. In terms of VR equipment, Longli’s MiniLED backlight products have been successfully used in Finnish Varjo’s consumer VR products and meta’s Quest ProVR products.

The rapid expansion of the MiniLED backlight business has made Longli Technology pay special attention to the certification of relevant technology patents to ensure the sustainable development of the MiniLED backlight business in the future.

In addition to this patent certification, in October this year, Longli Technology obtained a patent certificate issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The patent name is "A mura compensated direct MiniLED backlight module." This patent mainly eliminates the light spots (mura) in the backlight module by adding a microlens structure to the optical film, so that the Mini LED backlight module can effectively emit light evenly.

In November this year, Longli Technology obtained a patent certificate issued by the State Intellectual Property Office. The patent name is "Optical Device for Head-Mounted Display". This patent uses MiniLED backlight technology, combined with the light control principle of the light control film and imaging lens technology, to make the overall solution of the MiniLED optical system of the head-mounted display higher brightness, lower power consumption, and better display effect.

Regarding the company’s current patent reserves in Mini LED technology, Longli Technology stated that while the company provides customers with overall solutions for Mini LED backlight display modules, it is also conducting patent layout based on all aspects involved in the solution.

From a technical perspective, Longli Technology has carried out a comprehensive patent layout from LED light pattern optimization, lamp panel design, reflector, halo, brightness, thickness, production process, fixture use, production cost, etc.

From a geographical perspective, the company's patent applications cover domestic and foreign patents, such as PCT, the United States, India and other patents, providing strong support for the company's technological advancement.
