Lumileds BluGlass and Australian companies to expand cooperation, accelerate the development of high performance LED

The day before, Australia BluGlass company and Lumileds agreement, agreed to expand its existing two cooperation, accelerate the development of RPCVD (low temperature remote plasma chemical vapor deposition) technology in the new application of LED.

BluGlass is a green technology innovation company, holds a large number of patents of semiconductor technology in many areas of the United States, China, Europe and Japan, is currently committed to its proprietary low-temperature RPCVD technology commercialization.

It is reported that Gan RPCVD technology is mainly formed by the low temperature manufacturing platform (GaN), indium gallium nitride (InGaN) semiconductor materials and other key properties of low temperature and flexible film, produced by providing high efficiency and low cost, good performance, the base material for a wide range of advantages for the production process, is crucial for LED lamp and power electronic devices and other equipment production.

One part of the agreement is BluGlass continuous implementation of RPCVD technology commercialization plan.

BluGlass and Lumileds have been identified to accelerate the development of the strategy, including shortening the project iteration turnaround time.

Parijat Deb, senior director of the Lumileds research department said, "Lumileds is committed to this project, and expect to achieve the benefits of this new technology".

BluGlass general manager Giles Bourne said, "our partnership with Lumileds BluGlass is still a priority among priorities," we look forward to accelerate progress, and continue to cooperate with Lumileds, to find new business opportunities may exist." (compiled: LED James)
